That co-worker
You know the type. Everything this person touches turns to crap but nothing is ever his fault.
I work closely with one of these people and it's wearing REALLY thin. If you don't give him detailed -- to the letter -- directions, you get a bunch of lip later. "You didn't say you needed that."
What are you? A freaking kindergartener?
Yeah, I know. The problem could be me. Except everybody else in the building sees him as a cancer too.
Actually, everyone in town sees him the same way, apparently, because he continuously whines that no one else will hire him. Gee, I wonder why. Not! It's because your job skills are crappy and your attitude is worse. If someone calls here at work to ask about you, what are they going to say? Who's going to recommend you in good conscience? Heck, even in bad conscience. You're desperate to leave yet you're mailing it in and -- newsflash, son -- you're not good enough at full power.
It's enough to make me grateful that this is a temporary freelance job that ends next week. I'll miss the money but losing the frustration will be worth it.
